TCYR is committed to keeping the lines of communication open with those individuals who are looking for a position as a high school rowing coach. If you have an interest in joining our coaching staff now or in the future, we’d like to hear from you. Please send an email outlining your availability along with your resume to the TCYR president at president@tcyrc.org.

Assistant coaches shall have appropriate certification and/or equivalent instruction experience as determined by TCYR's coaching staff including US, UK or Canadian Level I Certification. All coaches shall have completed a Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED course. All coaches shall take the Minnesota Boating Safety Course and shall take and pass the “on-line” certification exam.  Experience with driving small boats with outboard motors is preferred. Also, please note that priority is given to those candidates who have expressed an interest in TCYR by regularly volunteering as a coaching assistant or in support of TCYR fundraising events or regattas.

The TCYR president is responsible for all hiring and compensation decisions. Offers made by other employees, officers, or board members of TCYR are not valid until confirmed in writing by the president.
