Where Can Rowing Take You?
Row in College. Build a Community for Life.
For athletes who want to continue competing after high school, rowing offers an incredible range of college opportunities across the country.
There are currently 39 NCAA Division I, 4 Division II, and 36 Division III men's programs, along with 94 Division I, 16 Division II, and 43 Division III women's programs. Athletes can also continue rowing through numerous collegiate club programs.
TCYRC athletes have gone on to compete at colleges and universities across the country, including NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, and club programs. Many of our athletes have been recruited and have received some level of athletic scholarship support.
We Help Athletes Navigate the Recruiting Process
College recruiting can feel overwhelming. Our coaches help athletes and families understand the recruiting process, identify programs that are a good fit, communicate with college coaches, and prepare for the opportunities ahead.
Our coaching staff brings college coaching and recruiting experience, along with valuable relationships and contacts at universities throughout the country.
Whether your goal is to compete at the highest level, find the right academic and athletic fit, or simply continue rowing in college, TCYRC will help you understand your options and build a path toward them.
More Than a Team. A Community for Life.
The Twin Cities Youth Rowing alumni community is built on friendships, shared experiences, and a commitment to excellence that extends far beyond graduation. From challenging erg sessions and early-morning practices to regattas, travel weekends, and unforgettable races, our athletes create memories and relationships that last a lifetime.
Each year, many TCYRC athletes continue their rowing careers at NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, and collegiate club programs across the country. Whether they pursue collegiate rowing or carry the lessons of the sport into other endeavors, our alumni remain an important part of the TCYRC family.
We are incredibly proud of all of our alumni and look forward to celebrating their continued success both on and off the water.
